We have used the cargo liner in the model Y for 4 months and when it’s cleaned, it still looks new.
We love cycling and all other outdoor activities so we often put so many heavy and dusty things in the trunk. As long as you don’t cut it with sharp stuff like a knife, the leather is very durable.
For example, we put the heavy bike there and the leather was pressed marks by the bike pedal, and the mark disappeared in 1 day, like it’s never scratched before.
Besides, we often make the cargo liner dusty with dirt. What we need to do is to wipe it with a wet towel or wet tissue. Other plastic cargo liners out there don’t have the smooth surface (they are molded with grooves and humps) and it’s hard to wipe clean with a towel or tissue.
